PENDLETON, Oregon — UPDATE: The Wildhorse Resort and Casino will reopen Wednesday after closing for a deep cleaning for coronavirus. The Oregonian reports the casino and resort will open after an employee tested positive for the virus.

Wells Fargo Bank has dropped its lawsuit in connection with a $250 million loan to the Chuckchansi Gold Casino and Resort. News of the settlement came last week in a statement from the Chukchansi.
That employee is still in the hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
ORIGINAL STORY: Wildhorse Resort and Casino announced they are closed temporarily because of a positive test for Coronavirus.
The resort says there will be a deep and thorough cleaning in response to the case. The closure includes the casino, convention center, hotel, Cineplex, Children's Entertainment Center, and restaurants. The resort says all activities are canceled including casino promotions and events until further notice.
The Tri-City Herald reports the person believed to have the virus is an employee at the resort. The newspaper reports the employee also attended a youth basketball game this weekend in Weston, Oregon.
